quadra street monster drag results

Posted in 1 by capitalcitycycles on April 13, 2010

The monster drag was well attended this year. I think there were about 25 people who lined up on the “starting intersection” on April 3rd. I was going to document the race with a helmet cam but unfortunately the batteries died before the race started. I realized this after the race was over as is to be expected. Very professional. Happy New Year

Posted in 1 by capitalcitycycles on December 31, 2009

It has been a big year for us at Capital City Cycles.  Taking over from Chain Chain Chain we’ve had some big shoes to fill, but it seems to be going well so far.  It has not been easy but with the help of a fantastic staff and a team of friends and family who have been willing to help out without question whenever  needed we have been able to get through the first year here, and are looking forward to many more.

So a huge thanks go out to all of our amazing customers and to everyone who has helped me out and supported the shop this year.  I honestly can’t imagine taking this on without you guys.

Have a safe and happy New Years everyone, I love you all!

Jeff

rifflandia

Capital City Cycles is happy to be a part of the the Rifflandia music festival being held in Victoria from Sept. 24 till the 27th. This is the second year (of many) for the festival, this year it hosts great acts such as Final Fantasy, Tegan and Sara, Holy Fuck, Pink Mountaintops and local favorites Techromancer, Ice Climbers and Colourbook to name only a few. This amazing music festival is starting tomorrow, so if you don’t have your wristband then you better go get one before you can’t. Here is a look at the photoshoot and the final ad that we did for the Rifflandia magazine. We would like to thank Rifflandia for not only putting on this great event but also showcasing great talent as well as supporting local businesses, so show your support and go get a wristband…
